YOUR ROLE

The Associate Account Manager is an important contact for our clients and provides ongoing sales support & helps identify new opportunities to grow the of specific countries for Footwear product categories. This person will be responsible to communicate, in collaboration with partners, set strategies around pricing, selection of products and buys, from pre-planning activities to in-season management analysis and action plans (promos, MDs, Visual Merchandising activations, …). The person in this role will be working closely with the Territory Director to ensure success in all channels, including Brick and Mortar, Digital, and Indirect Wholesale. In order to achieve the targets, the Associate Account Manager must coordinate with various functions including Planning, Marketing, Operations & Merchandising. This person needs to be resourceful, analytical, someone whose customer-oriented initiatives contributes to optimize the sales results of our partners.


Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with partners, main objective being to achieve optimized sell through of seasonal collections, from pre-planning to in-season management.
  • Accountable to deliver the pre-season planning in collaboration with the Planning team and sign-off from Territory Director (conceptual Assortment Plan, Blends, open to buy).
  • Responsible to meet Market Week’s seasonal buying budgets, which includes assisting presentations of the global collection to our franchise partners during Market Week, as well as communicating buying recommendations that align with the brand’s vision, and ensure partner’s buy in.
  • Provide weekly recap analysis that monitor product packages, Windows, special activations or promotions’ performance as well as ensuring proper MDs to reach desired sell through by end of season.
  • Monitor competition, i.e. identify territory product needs from a silhouette and a pricing perspective by conducting pricing analysis and reporting any upcoming trend to the Director of Account Management. Be competition obsessed.
  • Support Account Management Director in documenting data driven needs and opportunities through weekly touch points, Monthly Business reviews and quarterly Buying Postmortems to internal teams.
  • Always provide ongoing support and research to identify new opportunities in the business.

  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Able to collaborate and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Deep interest and enthusiasm with regards to the fashion industry
  • Excellent organization skills and ability to multitask
  • Very hands-on / adaptable to support wherever required
  • Sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
  • Proficient on Excel and Power Point
  • Autonomous worker
