YOUR ROLE
The ALDO Group, a worldwide leader in fashion footwear and accessories, is looking for creative talent to join its in-house product development team. Reporting to Product Development, this role will support our team’s administrative and data-oriented tasks. The Product coordinator is an entry level role which is ideal for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced environment all the while being driven by their passion for fashion.
Responsibilities:
- Ownership of Sample Maintenance- including but not limited to; unboxing and shipping samples, sample tracking and follow up, labelling originals, organization of sample library and showroom - Request and check samples, costing & material breakdowns from suppliers relating to handovers with assistant LM support - Product Lifecycle Management; data entry for collection handover duties - Manage defects/deleted articles post-handover, communicating with POM and buying teams - Assist Product Manager with confirmation sample process for respective category- Communicate with vendors & follow up throughout the development cycle - Assist with building material boards at the start of the development season - Analyze sales and compile weekly recaps of best sellers - Support Line Builder with daily roles and responsibilities - General assistance in administrative - Research trends, perform competitive shopping analysis and conduct monthly store visits
