YOUR ROLE
Reporting to the Senior Director, People and Culture, the Manager, People and Culture supports certain specific sectors of the ALDO Group while having under his leadership 3 business partners, Human Resources. His role is to support the various departments in the realization of the Human Resources component of their business plan/objectives while ensuring the deployment and implementation of corporate HR programs. He is also required to support and coach managers on key skills and good management practices. His role as a manager also leads him to support business partners both in the application of the various programs and in the development of their professional skills.
Supported departments are located at the Montreal head office. The Manager, People and Culture will also have the opportunity to participate in special projects to improve HR processes or related to the specific needs of the departments supported.
Key Responsibilities
- Bringing the Human Resources cycle to life
- Accompany the supported departments through the performance management process. Starting in January, the PARH will support managers in planning year-end evaluations.
- Assist managers and partners in setting their annual objectives.
- Accompany all managers involved in the salary adjustment process to ensure compliance with the given parameters and internal equity.
- Participate in the deployment of the annual engagement survey, analyze the results and follow up on action plans related to associate engagement.
- Coach and support managers on various HR topics.
- Contribute to the development of management skills related to the VOA.
- Advise and support managers in certain cases of non-performance or in contentious cases.
- Advising managers on restructurings.
- Analyze HR KPIs and make recommendations for improvement according to the context.
- Answer questions from associates regarding HR programs or their total compensation.
- Provide support to business partners in order to support them in certain files or with certain challenges.
- Develop the team's skills in order to maximize the advisory role offered to the various departments.
