YOUR ROLE

The Handbag Design team of the ALDO Handbag and Accessories division creates an essential and complementary part of the collection, reflecting the brand’s spirit. We are looking for an Associate Handbag Designer who possesses technical skills and creativity to design products that cater to the ALDO consumer.

Responsibilities

• Research, identify and interpret key trends
• Develop styling that is brand right and appropriate for the season
• Translate ideas into hand and technical sketches
• Produce technical packages and details for designs
• Correct Prototypes and Final samples for the collection
• Follow design calendar and meet appropriate deadlines
• Assist in preparation for presentations
• Responsible for daily correspondence with overseas vendors

DO YOU HAVE THE PROFILE WE'RE LOOKING FOR?

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design
• 2-3 years of experience in Handbag Design
• Excellent knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Excellent technical and hand sketching abilities
• Keen sense of fashion, trends, and pop culture
• Strong attention to details and organizational skills
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Excellent interpersonal skills and disposition
